Warranty
Randoline donkey equipment is guaranteed for two years against defects in conformity of the product sold and latent defects under the conditions provided for in Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code.
For the warranty to be valid, the defect must be hidden and render the equipment unfit for its intended use.
The warranty period begins on the date of dispatch from our workshops, in the case of shipment, or on the date of delivery, in the case of collection by the customer.
The warranty is only valid if it is invoked immediately after the defect is discovered.
The warranty covers, at our discretion, either the replacement or repair of parts recognised as defective.
If the application of the warranty requires the equipment to be returned to our workshops, the customer shall be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Any parts removed and replaced shall become our property.
The manufacturer’s warranty obligation shall immediately and automatically lapse in the following cases: failure to comply with the assembly instructions contained in the manual provided upon delivery // faulty assembly // interventions, modifications or adaptations made to the equipment by a third party not authorised by the manufacturer.
The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:
– the consequences of normal wear and tear (for a donkey pack saddle: leather harness, snap hooks, rubber parts, scratches on wooden parts) (for a bag: fabric, straps and clips, metal snap hooks, U-shaped fasteners)
– the consequences of poor maintenance
– breakage of wooden or plywood parts resulting from a violent impact
– tears in leather
– tears in fabric, plastic or straps on saddlebags
The warranty does not cover the paintwork on metal parts.

To implement the warranty, please contact us at the above address by telephone or email. A photograph of the defective part attached to the email would be appreciated.
As Randoline equipment is made up of standard components, in most cases simply exchanging the faulty part by post will resolve the issue quickly and at minimal cost.
Arrangement
Between the above clauses and reality, there is sometimes a dose of common sense and a great deal of empathy, with a sense of service. Please do not hesitate to contact us in the event of an incident. Often, a solution can be found at minimal cost and, above all, quickly.
