RGPD (protection of personal data)

The European data protection regulation, abbreviated as GDPR, came into force in April 2018. At Randoline we have scrupulously followed the recommendations of the CNIL, without difficulty since we already respected them internally.

We only have 2 files:

– 1 – contains the data of our customers

– 2 – concerns the e-mail addresses that we collect when we sell materials and do our commercial prospecting, and to which we send messages

The CNIL proposes 6 objectives, to which we provide the relevant answers :

1 – Only collect the data that are really necessary: the data collected are purely technical (name, address, telephone number, history of our exchanges, etc.). No other data is collected or requested. So these files cannot be used for anything other than the purpose for which they were designed, namely to keep in touch with our customers.

2 – Be transparent: since 2009, customers who have acquired our equipment know that their data has never been used for anything else.

3 – Think about people’s rights: obviously, our files are corrected over the years. As for the second file, which consists only of an email address, the slightest request for modification or deletion is immediately done.

4 – Keep control of your data: the data we have are kept internally. They are only extracted to send an e-mailing. By business ethics, none of our files are ever “sold” to other service providers who would like to use them to offer their services.

5 – Identify the risks: does not concern us according to the general content of the data we hold.

6 – Secure your data: since 2019, most of our IT activity, and in particular the store where we purchase our equipment, has moved to an https environment.
