Transfer of the passager

The tubular roll bar situated above the passenger seat, helps, along with intermediate seats, the passenger to transfer from a wheelchair to the Randoline. This is also made simpler thanks to the adjustments possible in relation to the height of the passenger.

Roll bar

The roll bar along with its use in helping the passenger on to the Randoline, also keeps any low branches on the trail away from the passenger, it also protests the passenger in the event of the Randoline turning over. A 5 m rope is supplied with the Randoline in case of such an event, and allows the vehicle to be up righted easily by attaching the rope to the highest part of the roll bar and pulling.

Seatbelt

Fitted to 4 anchorage points the seatbelt keeps the passenger secure in his/her seat.

Seat

The seat, sufficiently long, allows for a comfortable distribution of the passengers’ weight. Two retractable armrest also help to insure a comfortable ride. The comfort of the seat, which is padded with foam and covered in a heavy cotton fabric, is also enhanced by the addition of the passengers own personnel cushion.

Luggage boot

With a volume of 250 litres, completely lockable, it has easily enough space for the luggage of two, including space for any specific equipment.

Weight

The total vehicle weight + passenger + luggage are about 240 kg. Distributed over three wheels, this weight is no problem for an animal of normal constitution

Strength

The Randolina is constructed of welded steel tubes of a 42 mm diameter . It is extremely resistant to shocks and virtually indestructible.

Three wheels

Two rear wheels with a wheelbase of 122 cm to overcome the roughness of the trails. The wheels are highly resistant to wear and their flexibility increases passenger comfort. They are protected from possible shocks by a wheel guards. The single front wheel provides great handling abilities on even difficult roads.

Shocks Absorbers & Suspension

The rear wheels are equipped with shock absorbers and suspensions to smooth out bumps in the road.

Brakes

The rear wheels are equipped with hydraulic disc brakes and the front wheel is equipped with brake pads. The passenger controls them by hand. Their use is flexible and easy..

Emergency Separation System 

If necessary, the passenger can activate a hand controlled safety trigger. Instantly the Randoline then separates from the animal and automatically and at the same time, the front wheel brake is activated. To go again, just reset the system. This revolutionary device gives the passenger 100% security.
