The tool Cargolin attaches to a pack-saddle Randoline Bâlissandre, the only pack-saddle enough stable and robust to withstand the weight of a heavy load. It consists of four tubular steel hangers which stick the slope of arches. These four tubes meet on the top of the Bâlissandre by 2 flat iron plates. They are attached by 4 bolts on the pack-saddle.

The trimming of the arches of the Bâlissandre to the build of the animal is a feature of Randoline pack-saddles. So the flat iron plates may slide to accompany the spacing of arches.

At the end of the 4 tubes of the Cargolin is soldered a ring for a rope or a strap to tie up the load and prevent a separation of the tubes.

The Cargolin can carry multiple loads:
- logs
- fence posts
- hay bales
- bundles
- etc...

The Cargolin weighs 6.8 kg. The thicknesses of metals have been tested and chosen by a compromise between sturdiness and lightness.

The spacing is 32 cm at the bottom of the arches and 52 cm at the top.

The weight of the load is to be modulated according to the strength of the animal and the length of the way to walk.
