Sur le berceau sont fixés un arceau avant et un arceau arrière qui épousent le dos de l'animal. Les arceaux sont assez longs pour envelopper le dos de l'animal et assurer une parfaite stabilité au bât et un grand confort de portage. Le bât Randoline ne se retourne pas ! Comme aucun âne ne possède la même corpulence ni la même morphologie, les arceaux avant et arrière sont indépendants et vont s'adapter parfaitement à la forme du corps de chaque animal. Pour ce faire, chaque arceau est réglable en largeur sur un jeu de 5 cm, ce qui donne un jeu total en largeur de 7.5 cm pour le bât S et de 10 cm pour le bât M. Au-delà de ce jeu, il convient de prendre le bât de taille supérieure (par exemple le bât M si le S ne convient pas)
