La pente de l'arceau (qui fait 14°) est rectiligne, ce qui permet, si le randonneur voyage avec des sacoches, à celles-ci de "coller" au bât en conservant leur gabarit, sans se déformer. Si le randonneur préfère des sacs (souvent de modèle "sac marin"), ceux-ci viendront se positionner naturellement entre les arceaux. Les courroies des sacs ou sacoches viennent s'amarrer derrière les longerons. Dans tous les cas, les bagages ne touchent pas le corps de l'animal. Sur chaque arceau du bât Randoline est fixée une pièce métallique en U. A l'arrière de la sacoche sont fixés 2 pontets métalliques qui viennent s'enclencher sur les pièces en U. La profondeur de l'enfoncement est tel (55 mm) qu'il est quasiment impossible à la sacoche de tomber, même si l'animal part au galop. Grâce à ce dispositif, la sacoche reste parfaitement collée au bât et fait corps avec lui, augmentant la stabilité.

On peut aussi visser sur les traversiers un kit de pièces métalliques en U (les mêmes que celles qui servent à suspendre les sacoches Randoline sur la photo ci-dessus), et y accrocher les courroies.

If you wish to hang on the pack-saddle Randoline bags of another model, just pass the straps behind the supporters, like you pass behind the crosspiece of a normal pack-saddle. You can also screw on the wood crosspieces of the pack-saddle Randoline 2 metallic U pieces (the same as the ones used for the Randoline bags on the photo above) and pass the straps.
